Day 1:- Transfer From Manali to Kaza
Leave for Kaza (12000 ft asl - 200 kms - 10 hrs) via Rohtang Pass (12000+ ft asl) and Kunzum-la Pass (15000+ ft asl) as early as possible from Manali. This drive is adventurous and passes through stunning mountain ranges, riverbeds, snow-laden peaks, and a route with stunning Himalayan backdrop alongside. Spend your night stay at the hotel in Kaza.
Day 2:- Sightseeing around Kaza
Post breakfast, and explore the local market and interact with the natives. Enthusiasts can visit the monastery located at the top of the village. If weather condition permits, you can drive to Hikkim, which is the highest located village in the world. Later drive towards Kee Monastery and the Kibber village. Take a casual walk around the charismatic scenic beauty while chatting with the locals. During afternoon, you can dine at the restaurant with a choice of Indian and Tibetan delicacies. Return to Kaza in the evening to spend your night at the hotel.
Day 3:- Kaza Localsightseeing
After Breakfast, enjoy the local sightseeing of Langza and Komic village followed by an overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 4:- Kaza - Pin Valley - Kaza
Morning after breakfast, drive to pin valley – the cold desert National Park located in Himachal Pradesh. The park lies in the valley of the Pin river, from where it derives its name. Drive back to hotel for an overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 5:- Kaza to Tabo
Post breakfast, visit the Tabo monastery which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Later, drive to Kaza (3 hrs.) En route halting at the Dhankar village, Dhankar monastery and fort. Here, sip your cup of tea or lunch with a local family. Later on we continue our drive to Kaza where you will check in at your hotel. The evening is free to explore in the Kaza market.
Day 6:- Kaza to Chandertal Lake
The sixth day sets you off towards Chandertal Lake by crossing Kunzum Pass and Battal. Enjoy mesmerizing scenic view of CB ranges peaks to absorb the nature’s aura inside you. Spend the complete day cherishing beauty of the beautiful lake and natural surrounding; followed by an overnight stay in a camp at Chandertal Lake.
Day 7:- Chandertal to Manali
On the last day, drive towards Manali stop for breakfast at Chandertal Lake camp and lunch at the hotel. This day covers the crossing over two high mountain passes Kunzum pass (4,558 metres / 14,950 feet) and Rohtang Pass (3,980 metres / 13058 feet). On the way, you can visit the temple and catch the glimpses of unparalleled beauty of CB ranges and Glaciers. Reach to Manali in the evening.
