Day 01: ~ Transfer From Chandigarh to Sarahan (235 km,8-9 Hours)
The first day of this refreshing trip starts after Arrival to Chandigarh Airport & then from here, we move by Car to Sarahan via Shimala, which is an 8-9 hour drive to the former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh. You can enjoy the beautiful views of the snow-capped Shivalik mountain meadows offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas driving through the charming villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Narkanda Apple orchards and Hattupeak (3,400 meters/ 11,154 feet) at Narkanda, from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas. Then Overnight stay will be at Sarahan hotel.
Day 02: ~ Transfer From Sarahan to Sangla
After breakfast, you need to check out from the hotel, and then we will proceed to Kinnaur Sangla via Rampur Sarahan, a gateway to Kinnaur valley. Here We will visit the Hattu peak (3,400 meters/ 11,154 feet) located at Narkanda from where you can have a spectacular view of the mighty Central Himalayas and will also tour the traditional wooden carved temple of Goddess Kali on the top. Enrooted, we will tour the famous temple of Bhimakali at Sarahan, Hawa Mahal, Cricket Ground, Oldest Mahal of King of Himachal. After visiting the temple, we will proceed driving to Sangla Valley. Then Overnight stay will be in Hotel in Sangla Valley.
Day 03: ~ Local Sightseeing of Chitkul-Sangla Valley
After breakfast, we will Sangla, Kamru village, and make a short walk to visit Kamru Fort, which has a temple dedicated to Kamakshi Devi. Sangla, a populous town, situated on the right bank of the Baspa River, is famous for its highly fertile soil, at an elevation of 2621 m above the sea level and falls at a distance of 17 km from Karcham. It is built on a slope with the house rising one above the other, and the scene is closed by the gigantic Raldang Peaks towering behind. Chitkul is a village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. The Indian road ends here. The Baspa valley is the prettiest in the Himalayas. Its terrain and green vegetation on the slopes are not very steep. A populous village situated on the right bank of the Baspa is built on a hill with the houses rising one above the other with gigantic KinnerKailash peak domination the scene. Overnight stay will be set up at Sangla.
Day 04: ~ Sangla to Kalpa 2,758 metres / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)
After breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel, and we will drive you to Kalpa. It is 2670 meters above the sea level and is the district headquarter of Kinnaur and was once the ideal getaway of Lord DalhousieAfter reaching Kalpa. We will check in to the hotel. A legend like I Lord Dalhousie use to visit this 500-year-old village, they say all the things are quite similar like back in time. Relieve all your tensions in this beautiful valley of Kalpa. By the side of Kalpa is a 79 feet high rock structure that matches a Shivlinga that adapts its color as the day passes. After lunch, rest in your hotel for a while. In the evening, we will tour the Buddhist Gompa, Hu Bu Lan Kar. Return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay
Day 05: ~ Kalpa to Kaza 3,050 metres / 10010 feet (190 Kms / 9-10 hrs)
After breakfast, your 9 hours drive you to Kaza starts. Your drive will cover you through Puh and Nako, here we will visit the fantastic Nako Lake and village and will have lunch in Nako. Later we continue our drive to Kaza en-route visits the Guevillage, the last Indian village on Indo-Tibetan boarder, Tabo. Here we will be attending the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk, which is about 600 years old, which was discovered here while building the road. After that we reach Tabo, and we will check in to your hotel. Today itself we will be touring the beautiful Spiti valley, which is also known as the cold desert of the Himalayas as it encounters heavy snow in the winters).
Day 06: ~ Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs)
Today is the day of the excursion after breakfast we will go to the village of Laguna. Here there is a chance to walk around the town. You may wish to visit the monastery at the top of the city and, on the way, look out for fossils. Here you can also see the yak of mountain grazing in the pastures. If weather favors, there is an option drive on to Hikkim, and the Comic village, which is now the world’s highest village (4,450 meters) joined to a motorable road. Later we will resume our drive to KeeMonastery and the community of Kibber. Once Kibber (at 4,200 meters) was recognized as the world’s highest village. There is also the option to walk to the nearby hills where there are big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex gather in the evening. Lunch will be made at Kibbervillage, in a local restaurant, where you will be offered a variety of rich Tibetan dishes. In the evening, we will return to Kaza for a Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: ~ Kaza to Chandratal Lake
The morning after breakfast, leave for Chandratal Lake by converging Kunzam Pass (15,100ft) reach Baltal, here there will be a change of vehicle to Sumo to progress to Chandratal lake. On the way, we will have a grand view of CB Ranges Peaks. This Deep Blue Water Has A Limit Of 2.5 Kms. This Is The Source Of The River Chandra According To Some Believers. This Is The Place From Where The God Indra`SChariot Took The Eldest Pandava Brother Yudhistra To Swarga To Heaven In His Mortal Form. Enjoy the Full day Leisure to experience the beauty of the beautiful lake and generally surrounded Snow peaks. The last and best thing for the day will be Camping at ChandratalLake.
Day 08: ~ Chandertal to Manali 2,050 metres / 6,726 feet ( 200kms /05 hrs)
Today we hit the road early by 06: 30 A.M indeed the longest day’s journey driving to Manali 9-10hrs drive. On the w, ay we will halt for breakfast at Chander Tal lake Camp, and then for lunch at Any hotel. Today we will converge two high mountain passes, one of which is the most potent point on the whole journey Kunzum Pass, 4,558 meters / 14,950 feet where we will tour the temple on the pass where travelers say prayers before heading down the pass. The Kunzum Pass presents gorgeous views of CB ranges and Glaciers. Later on, we will proceed with our journey over the Rohtang pass (3,980 meters / 13058 feet) and enter Manali. We will reach Manali in the evening and then will check-in at the hotel.
Day 09: ~ Manali to Chandigarh (310 kms – 09-km hrs).
Last day of the trip, after breakfast, we will drive you to Chandigarh via Kullu, Aut, Hanogi Devi temple, and Pandoh Dam. Later on, we will recapitulate our road to Chandigarh. We will arrive in Delhi by evening. Here comes an End of memorable your and services
